Board of Trustees​​

The Board of Trustees of the school consists of an odd number of members not less than five and not more than nine, all of whom shall have the necessary competence and experience to carry out the functions entrusted to them 

Responsibilities:

  1. Responsible before the Council for the implementation of the strategic plans of the school and the achievement of its goals and mission.
  2. Provide support and advice to the Principal and staff with regard to clarifying the strategic vision as well as advice on financial and other professional matters and quality assurance.
  3. The adoption of the school policies and development plans and ensuring that development policies and plans laid down by the Principal support the achievement of the vision and values of the school
  4. Record minutes of meetings and document them ( once every three months on an invitation from the chair)​




School Development Committee (Board of Directors)

Responsibilities:

  1. Preparing the annual plan for the school development, and any other plan which follows a development order after the school is inspected by the Council.
  2. submit development plans to the Board of Trustees for approval, and to the Council if so requested
  3. supervise the progress made by the school with regard to the agreed key performance indicators specified forth in the development plan.
  4. Assign a team to carry out the self evaluation of the school
  5. Supervise the work of school committees and provide guidance and support
  6. Evaluate and report performance at the end of each term
  7. Update ADEC evidence files
  8. Conduct student, parent and staff satisfaction surveys to evaluate school efficiency




SEN Support:

pecial educational needs of the students shall not constitute, themselves, a hindrance to the application or enrolment in any private school. Students shall be treated without discrimination due to such needs so that the students with special educational needs shall get educational opportunities equal to those of their peers with no special educational needs

 Responsibilities :

  1. Design and implement means and programmes which include special modifications in the curricula or educational means in response to the special needs of students who face difficulties that negatively affect their abilities to learn. as well as talented and creative students to obtain the best education and capacity development as appropriate for the circumstances of each of them.
  2. Design individual student plans in coordination with SEN coordinator, teacher, nurse, parent and student
  3. Monitor student development and efficiency of programs
  4. Write reports on individual student development in conjunction with committee members​
